Fans of the MK Fan Zone

What a FANtastic time Lifestyle:MK had visiting the Rugby World Cup Fanzone in Campbell Park.  The amazing PARK'S TRUST (who run LOADS of events, not just the Rugby!!) have truly done themselves proud.

Campbell Park has a massive marquee where you can watch the matches - as well as enjoy lots of other exciting events from now until Oct 11th, and Rugby fan or not, you won't be short of something to do.

There is a family-friendly, festival atmosphere with games, photo booths and lots of excitement everywhere you turn.  You can test your passing skills by getting the rugby ball through the hole...I think you need to do this backwards though...that's the rule :), or pretend to be one of the players...

For the adults there is a Sports Bar, and a bar inside the marquee, and while entry to most of the events is FREE, you'll be tempted to visit the shop selling the official World Cup Merchandise, and indulge in the tasty treats around site with a varied food court to suit all palates.  ...and you're also always in safe hands, Russell very kindly took some time out to talk about his role and how he's been enjoying the event.

We had the opportunity to speak to many of the guests (we hope to have our little video feature up soon - do "watch this space") about their predictions and how they were enjoying their day.  It was great to hear everyone speak of the fun they were having and the wonderful atmosphere, as well as learn what The Park's Trust have been doing to ensure the community spirit continues when the World Cup is decided.  The organisers have even been going around local schools to get the children interested in the sport.

Your current predictions for the victors are Australia, South Africa and New Zealand, and while everyone we spoke to hoped England would get through, Australia just outplayed them on the night.

...We'd LOVE to keep hearing your views, so why not comment, or tweet to us to tell us who you think will be victorious:

Lifestyle:MK would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Park's Trust, not only for making us so welcome, but also for putting on such a brilliant event.

If you haven't yet been, GO - this is the city at its best!
